Welcome to Erin R. McCoy’s online teaching portfolio! I am a Ph.D. candidate in Humanities at the University of Louisville. My dissertation concerns the historical and cultural importance of lyrics in American songs written during the Vietnam War era, and I expect to graduate in May 2013. I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Latin American & Latino Studies from the University of Louisville (August 2011), with a focus on national and cultural identities in Latin America. I have been an adjunct faculty member of Jefferson Community & Technical College’s English Department for four years; I teach college writing, freshman composition, and business writing. You can read more “about me” here, check out my current publications, or view my curriculum vitae here.
